Which size Maxxfan Deluxe do i need
353mm (350 model) or 406mm (400 model)
A misconception when ordering Maxxfans is that 400 model is bigger than the 350model and allows more light to pass through the fan. Actually they are both the same unit and interchangeable. The different however is the roof flange and the inner garnish ring are two different sizes. See here
So why go for the 400mm model? well the only reason to go with the 400 model is if you have your aperture already cut out and your replacing like for like. If you are cutting your hole we recommend the 353mm model as they are much easier to place especially on Volkswagen crafter / Mercedes sprinters where roof ribs are quiet close together.
